Karlheinz Bourdon to head injection moulding at KraussMaffei

Dr. Karlheinz Bourdon (50) has been appointed head of the injection moulding division at KraussMaffei Technologies (KM, Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.com), effective 1 February 2008. Since Josef Märtl left the company in August 2007, Manfred Reichel has been acting manager of the division in addition to his role as head of the extrusion division – see Plasteurope.com of 08.08.2007.
Bourdon is an experienced manager familiar with this sector. In the early 1990s he was responsible for systems technology at KM. He subsequently moved to Milacron, where he was in charge of the global injecting moulding, blow moulding and extrusion business, most recently as president global plastics machinery. He stepped down from this position in February 2007 – see Plasteurope.com of 22.02.2007.
