Chairman of the board Josef Märtl has left KraussMaffei (Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.de) by mutual consent, effective 31 July 2007. Märtl (49) joined the company as a trainee in 1973 and most recently headed the company’s Injection Moulding Division. He will be succeeded temporarily in that position by Manfred Reichel, who will continue with his present responsibilities as head of the Extrusion Division. Reichel began his career with KraussMaffei in 1965 and has since held a number of management positions in purchasing, production and sales. He has been CEO of Berstofff GmbH since 1994, which joined forces with KraussMaffei’s Extrusion Division in July this year.
