Bourdon quits Milacron
It was more or less on the cards, following the announcement that responsibility for global plastics machinery would be handed over to Robert K. Simpson (see Plasteurope.com Web of 27.11.2006), that Karlheinz Bourdon (47) would leave Milacron (Cincinnati, Ohio / USA; www.milacron.com). Since the end of October 2006, the manager has been responsible solely for injection moulding machinery. He will work for a few more months "in an advisory capacity for international key projects." A successor has not yet been found. For the time being, the managing directors of the individual production sites for injection moulding machines will report to Simpson directly.
