“PET Monomer Recycling Forum” in Brussels in April

After launching a special industry group in mid-2019 – see Plasteurope.com of 19.07.2019Petcore Europe (Brussels / Belgium; https://petcore-europe.org) will now hold its first “PET Monomer Recycling Forum” in Brussels on 16 April 2020. At the event, industry experts will provide information on the latest developments in the chemical recycling of PET.

Topics include PET monomer recycling and circularity, the challenges of processing PET waste into raw material with talks on extended producer responsibility and legislation as well as a discussion of communications and language within monomer recycling. The final session will present the results of a comparison between PET monomer recycling, mechanical recycling and incineration with energy recovery as well as virgin material.
