Idé-Pro (Skive / Denmark; www.ide-pro.dk), a specialist for injection-moulded prototypes and small series production, has expanded its capacities just a few months after investment firm Blue Equity (Kolding / Denmark; www.blue.dk) acquired half the company’s shares – see Plasteurope.com of 24.04.2019. In Idé-Pro’s new facility at Glyngøre – around 25 km from its head office in Skive – the company has installed an injection moulding machine from Haitian (Ningbo, Zhejiang / China; www.haitian.com) with a clamping force of 40,000 kN. The Danish company now has the largest injection moulding machine in Scandinavia, according to plastics industry association Plastindustrien (Copenhagen / Denmark; www.plast.dk).
Idé-Pro started up production at its Glyngøre plant – a former fish processing factory – on 1 July. The location is scheduled to be running at full capacity by the end of 2020.
