“Plastics Recycling Show” moved to late March / Earlier date had been scrapped following Brussels terror threat
After the terror threat in Brussels forced organiser Crain Communications (UK) (www.crain.com) to postpone its "Plastics Recycling Show“ (PRS, www.prseventeurope.com), which was originally due to take place on 25 and 26 November 2015 (see Plasteurope.com of 23.11.2015), the exhibition has now been rescheduled to 22 and 23 March 2016. Also held in Brussels, the event will coincide with the working groups sessions of Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE, Brussels; www.plasticsrecyclers.eu). Contrary to original plans, the show will not follow from Petcore Europe’s (Brussels; https://petcore-europe.org) annual conference, which will take place in the Belgian capital a month earlier, on 23 February 2015 (see Plasteurope.com of 04.12.2015).
As a result of the postponement, the show, which includes an exhibition and a conference highlighting European plastics recycling practices and innovations, will also address the new and highly controversial Circular Economy Package passed by the European Commission in early December 2015 (see Plasteurope.com of 07.12.2015).
