US custom compounder Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, Rhode Island; www.teknorapex.com) has made available in Europe its “Recyclon” range of recycled polyamide compounds. Previously sold only across the US, the range includes PA 6 and PA 6.6 engineering thermoplastics for injection moulding. Teknor Apex said it can vary the recyclate content according to customer needs.

The grades, which are available in black colour, can incorporate glass fibre reinforcements and performance enhancing additives. The company said that they are designed to provide “superior part performance in demanding end use environments”, including automotive components as well as consumer and industrial applications.
