Chinese fibre manufacturer orders second PA 6 plant
Just days after landing a deal to supply Chinese fibre manufacturer Fujian Jinjiang Technology (Changle; www.fjjjtechnology.com) with a new PA 6 line – see Plasteurope.com of 16.08.2010Lurgi (Frankfurt / Germany; www.lurgi.com) has struck again.

On 18 August the company announced that it had received a new order from LiHeng Chemical Fibre Technologies (Changle / China; www.lihengchem.com) for two PA 6 fibre lines with a total capacity of 100,000 t/y. The German company will provide the "Zimmer" two-stage PA 6 technology as well as basic engineering services, the main equipment and also oversee the lines’ construction and commissioning.

LiHeng reportedly already operates the world’s largest PA 6 fibre plant with Lurgi’s Zimmer two-stage technology with a capacity of around 70,000 t/y.
