Order for a large PA 6 fibre line in China
Lurgi (Frankfurt / Germany; www.lurgi.com) has received an order from Chinese fibre manufacturer Fujian Jinjiang Technology (Changle; www.fjjjtechnology.com) to build a large PA 6 plant, with a daily capacity for 260 t (more than 90,000 t/y). The German equipment manufacturer will deliver its two-step polyamide 6 “Zimmer” technology including basic engineering as well as the main equipment, such as pre-polymerisation and VK tube reactor, and will also oversee the assembly and start-up of what will be the “world’s largest PA 6 plant”, Lurgi reports, adding that the two companies already had signed the necessary papers.
