Former VTC TPE Group renames itself
Following its recent acquisition by polymer specialist Hexpol (Malmo / Sweden; www.hexpol.com) – see also Plasteurope.com of 23.03.2010 – the VTC TPE Group (Middleton, Manchester / UK; www.vtctpe.com) has changed its name to Elasto (Amal / Sweden; www.elastotpe.com). The newly named company is comprised of Vita Thermoplastic Polymers (Manchester / UK) and VTC Elastoteknik (Amal / Sweden).
Elasto will continue to develop TPE compounds based on SBS, SEBS, TPO and TPV technologies, which Nordmann, Rassmann (NRC, Hamburg / Germany; www.nordmann-rassmann.com) will distribute in Germany, Austria, Switzerland as well as central and eastern Europe.
