Chinese BOPA film producer Xiamen Changsu Industrial (Xiamen, Fujian; http://chang-sugx.ecol.xyz) has broken ground on a facility to house “LISIM” simultaneously technology production of BOPA 4.0. Wang Zhefu, Xiamen Changsu president, said that fourth generation BOPA film production technology and BOPA 4.0 “are synonyms for the highest level of development and the next step in our industry: Not to sell only film, but to provide highly sophisticated solutions for the packaging and food sector by using the most advanced technologies available.”
Four LISIM lines supplied by German film production machinery manufacturer Brückner Maschinenbau (Siegsdorf; www.brueckner.com) will be installed. Brückner’s COO Helmut Huber said that the two BOPA LISIM lines already running (see Plasteurope.com of 15.06.2015) were the key to the expansion with another four LISIM lines: “The decision for LISIM is a decision for a bright future. And it underlines once more that Xiamen Changsu has become a real global pacemaker in the BOPA film industry,” Huber said.
