FM on maleic anhydride said to be lifted
The 50:50 joint venture Sasol-Huntsman Germany (www.sasol-huntsman-germany.de) has lifted force majeure for maleic anhydride at Moers / Germany, according to unconfirmed reports which add that the company also has successfully started up the expanded 105,000 t/y capacity. The additional output was due on the market in March 2011 but was delayed because of reactor problems – see Plasteurope.com of 08.04.2011.
