New "Radilon" engineering plastics solutions
RadiciGroup (Bergamo / Italy; www.radicigroup.com) displayed its range of engineering and high performance glass fibre-filled plastics at this year's “FIP solution plastique 2011”, held from 24 to 27 May 2011 in Lyon / France (see Plasteurope.com of 11.02.2011), with a focus on the most recent additions to its “Radilon” range of high performance plastics.
“Radilon” D PA 6.10 is an engineering plastic for injection moulding and extrusion. It is made with a 60% content of polymers from renewable source materials derived from castor oil and developed for applications such as under-the-bonnet car parts, compressed air hoses and cable sheaths.
“Radilon” A RV500RW 339 blk is a 50% glass fibre-filled PA 6.6, developed as metal and light-alloy replacement. Another addition is “Radilon” A RV350 HHR Blk, a PA 6.6 engineering plastic with improved thermal resistance for the automotive sector – see Plasteurope.com of 10.03.2011.
