PETAINER
Planning additional investments at Swedish plant
UK plastic packaging specialist Petainer (Peterborough; www.petainer.com) says it has successfully installed a new Husky machine at its plant in Lidköping / Sweden, not only boosting capacities at the site, but also allowing the facility to run in a more ecological manner. Commenting on the new machine, group CEO Nigel Pritchard said, “This investment follows on the heels of our initial investment plan from the second half of 2012, and we will be following this up in 2013 with yet further investments” – see also Plasteurope.com of 23.08.2012.

With an eye towards the future, Philip Sanner, Petainer’s Sales and Marketing director, said the company would continue to develop its local markets and work towards expanding its operations elsewhere, too.
