Distribution agreement with Cereplast
Bioplastics producer Cereplast (Hawthorne, California / USA; www.cereplast.com) has appointed Nordmann, Rassmann (NRC, Hamburg / Germany; www.nrc.de) as an additional distribution partner in Europe. NRC has been distributing Cereplast’s compostable PLA compounds and non-biodegradable polyolefin-containing compounds for injection moulding and extrusion in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordic countries since 1 December 2008. At the beginning of 2009, A. Schulman (Akron, Ohio / USA; www.aschulman.com) began distributing Cereplast bioresins in a number of European markets – see Plasteurope.com of 28.01.2009.
