Stefano Mirti named as CEO / New production site in Poland

Logoplaste (Cascais / Portugal; www.logoplaste.com) has appointed Stefano Mirti as its new CEO for Europe and Asia. The Portuguese packaging manufacturer’s new chief executive holds an MBA in strategic management from Sacred Heart University (Fairfield, Connecticut / USA; www.sacredheart.edu) as well as a degree in process engineering from Ecole des Mines (Nancy / France; www.mines-nancy.univ-lorraine.fr).

With the completion of its acquisition of a majority stake in PET container manufacturer Masterchem (Zielona Góra / Poland; www.mch.com.pl) – see Plasteurope.com of 28.11.2019 – the company has gained a production site at Gorzów Wielkopolski / Poland, which specialises in extrusion blow-moulded packaging for home care.
