K 2013
Great interest in plastics and rubber trade fair in Düsseldorf / Marked increase in demand for exhibition space
"K 2013" is continuing where the hugely successful 2010 fair left off: Now that the official registration deadline passed at the end of May, it is obvious that all the international plastics and rubber industry's bigshots will be taking part in the flagship fair, held from 16 to 23 October 2013 in Düsseldorf / Germany. The demand for stand space has risen sharply, as numerous exhibitors want to make a bigger impact at the fair. All 19 halls of Düsseldorf’s exhibition grounds will be fully occupied.
For Werner Dornscheidt, president and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf (www.messe-duesseldorf.de), the great interest confirms K Düsseldorf’s outstanding status. “K 2013 will give us a complete overview of the changing world market, and we can look forward to a multitude of impressive innovations. We know that many of our exhibitors are already working flat out on their new products and presentations. Düsseldorf will be a powerful source of inspiration for the plastics and rubber world!”
Some 3,000 exhibiting companies will be participating in K 2013 and presenting their offers from the fields of machinery and equipment for the plastics and rubber industry, raw materials, auxiliaries and semi-finished products, technical parts and reinforced plastics. Suppliers from Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and the USA will again be particularly strongly represented, and the number of Asian manufacturers from China, Taiwan and India also continues to rise.
“K makes the difference” is the motto of the upcoming event, which has proven to be a trend barometer and innovation forum for the entire sector, with the latest developments and optimised technologies being premiered every three years. Company exhibits will be supplemented by a special show entitled “Plastics move the world” – see Plasteurope.com of 05.12.2011 – which will take up aspects of the theme of mobility – everything from lightweight design in the construction of vehicles, aircraft and ships, and electromobility to individual mobility and modern leisure behaviour.
