K 2013
Special show to spotlight how “plastics move the world” / Düsseldorf again plays host to triennial event
Transport and mobility is the theme chosen for the special show at the “K 2013” plastics and rubber trade fair (www.k-online.de). Preparations are already underway for the event, which will take place in Düsseldorf / Germany from 16 to 23 October 2013. Under the slogan “Plastics move the world”, the general theme of mobility will be presented from a number of points of view, covering lightweight materials in the design of motor vehicles, aircraft and ships through electromobility, individual mobility and modern leisure behaviour. The focus will be on climate-compatible energy and transport strategies as well as on the changes in work and leisure behaviour thanks to mobile communications.
The special show will again be organised by the German plastics industry under the overall management of PlasticsEurope Deutschland (Frankfurt / Germany; www.plasticseurope.de) and Messe Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf / Germany; www.messe-duesseldorf.de). The show supplements exhibitors’ presentations with forward-looking themes, the organisers said.
Invitations to exhibitors for “K 2013”, which will have the slogan “K makes the difference”, will be sent out worldwide at the beginning of 2012 and Messe Düsseldorf says it again expects a huge response. The closing date for registration is 31 May 2012.
