Acquisition of Finnish distributor of composite materials
Chemicals distribution group IMCD (Rotterdam / The Netherlands; www.imcdgroup.com) says it has acquired 100% of the share capital of Finland’s Kokko-Fiber (Kokkola; www.kokko-fiber.fi), which supplies fibre-reinforced plastics and other composite products. No terms of the deal were released.

Founded in 1994, Kokko-Fiber, has five employees, generated revenue of EUR 9.0 m in 2019, and serves many large Finnish firms, IMCD said, noting that the company will continue with its present management and staff. IMCD acquired Velox (Hamburg / Germany) in 2019 (see PIEweb 03.10.2019).
