HUSKY
Drive to improve service significantly / Worldwide technical support staff increased by 20%
Husky Injection Molding Systems (Bolton, Ontario/Canada; www.husky.ca) has announced plans to increase the number of field service technicians worldwide, especially in the beverage packaging sector. This service drive includes expanding call centre capacity, reducing response times to 24 hours and faster shipment of spare parts. The investment cost has not been disclosed.

The company also plans to add a machinery manufacturing facility to the sales and service centre it opened last year in Chennai / India - see Plasteurope.com of 18.12.2009. However, it is not clear which markets this will serve. The company also intends to refurbish tools and hot runners at this site.
