Sales and support facility to open in India

Husky Injection Molding Systems (Bolton, Ontario / Canada; www.husky.ca) is to build a 3,300 m² facility for sales, customer support, manufacturing and sourcing teams in Chennai / India. The facility is expected to be operational within one year and will also support Husky’s growing hot runner business in the region by providing local hot runner and mould refurbishing to reduce lead times.
The company entered the Indian market in 1999 and opened an office in Mumbai in 2001. It has recently extended its technical centre in Yokohama / Japan, expanded its technical centre in Shanghai / China and most lately established a PET and hot runner refurbishing centre in Moscow / Russia – see Plasteurope.com of 06.10.2009.
