Two new PPA grades for high-temperature applications
Turkish compounds producer Epsan Plastic (Bursa; www.epsan.com.tr) has further expanded its "Eplamid" range. Last year, the company introduced two high-temperature polyphthalamide (PPA) grades (see Plasteurope.com of 18.02.2015) and one grade for optical frame applications (see Plasteurope.com of 16.09.2015).
The new Eplamid HT01 and Eplamid HT03 grades are for high-temperature parts. According to the company, HT01 has a high melting point and HT03 is easily mouldable, and they fill the gap between the different existing grades.
Epsan operates two plants in Bursa and sells its portfolio to more than 35 countries.
