TPE distribution agreement with Telko for Chinese market
Not even a year after making its debut following the acquisition by Hexpol (Malmo / Sweden; www.hexpol.com) – see Plasteurope.com of 14.05.2010 – thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compound manufacturer Elasto (Alma / Sweden; www.elastotpe.com) has signed a distribution agreement with Telko Shanghai (Shanghai / China). Under the terms of the agreement, the local subsidiary of chemicals and plastics distributor Telko (Helsinki / Finland; www.telko.com) has been put in charge of the market development and sales of Elasto’s “Dryflex” TPEs based on SBS, SEBS, TPV and TPO materials.

A part of Finland’s Aspo (Helsinki; www.aspo.com), Telko has a presence in 12 countries, including Scandinavia and the Baltic states as well as Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and China.

Typical uses for Elasto’s “Dryflex” TPEs include mobile phones, caps and closures, toys, automotive, profiles and soft grips.
