Agreement to supply Sibur with additives extended
BASF (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com) has extended its long-term agreement to supply Sibur (Moscow / Russia; www.sibur.com) with additives for polymer production. The collaboration dates back to September 2013 (see Plasteurope.com of 24.09.2013) and calls for the German group to deliver to Sibur additives used in the latter’s PP, PE, synthetic rubber and thermoplastic elastomers.

In addition, the two companies also agreed to continue jointly developing new PP grades and to work together on polymer stabilisation optimisation. The collaboration also calls for introducing customer specific blends, ensuring higher production efficiency and product quality.
