Luciano Anceschi elected new president of Euromap / Helmut Heinson appointed vice president

During an extraordinary general assembly meeting, held on 18 October in Friedrichshafen / Germany, the European Association for Plastics and Rubber Machinery Manufacturers (Euromap, Frankfurt / Germany; www.euromap.org) elected Luciano Anceschi as its new president, while Helmut Heinson was named the association’s vice president. Anceschi serves as the CEO of Tria (Milan / Italy; www.triaplastics.com) and Heinson is the managing director of Sales at Arburg (Loßburg / Germany; www.arburg.com).
During the meeting, Thorsten Kühmann, the managing director of the Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association within the German Engineering Federation VDMA (KuG, Frankfurt; www.kug.vdma.org), was confirmed as Euromap secretary general.
The appointments come in the wake of Bernhard Merki’s resignation as Euromap president following his departure from Netstal Maschinen (Näfels / Switzerland; www.netstal.com) – see also Plasteurope.com of 18.04.2012.
