New heads of sales, polymers divisions announced

Swiss polymer distributor Meraxis (Muri; www.meraxis-group.com) has announced two additions to it management.
In September 2024, Olga Baburina was named head of the company’s Global Sales division. With a degree in industrial engineering, Baburina brings over 20 years of industry experience to the table, having previously held the same position at competitor Biesterfeld Plastic. Before that, she was in charge of Albis Plastic’s distribution portfolio as vice-president.

Mattis Gosmann took over as head of Standard & Performance Polymers and its Polyolefins subdivision as of 1 October. Gosmann holds a doctorate in macromolecular chemistry and was previously global business division director of Zschimmer & Schwarz’s textile and fibre auxiliaries unit.
