The German group’s expansion plans most recently saw it acquiring South African composites distributor Aerontec. It now has more than 50 locations across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North and South America, generating annual revenue of EUR 1.38 bn with around 1,100 employees. In addition to its materials portfolio, the group provides consulting services in its three business units Biesterfeld Plastic, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie, and Biesterfeld Performance Rubber.
