Raphael Wolfram takes over Industrial unit, remains CEO / Martin Schüler becomes CEO of Automotive

The executive board of plastics processor Röchling (Mannheim, Germany; www.roechling.com) said it is redistributing its responsibilities. On 1 July 2025, the current CEO of the Industrial division, Franz Lübbers, is set to retire.
Raphael Wolfram, has been named as Lübber’s successor. While Wolfram is set to remain spokesperson of the Röchling executive board, he will hand over his management duties for the Automotive division, the company said. Martin Schüler has been tapped to take over as the new CEO of the automotive business as of 1 February 2025. The firm noted that Wolfram will then move to the executive board of Röchling Industrial for the transition.

Schüler previously worked for more than 20 years at French automotive supplier OPmobility (formerly Plastic Ommium, Levallois; www.opmobility.com) – most recently as CEO of Hella Behr Plastics Omnium. He is expected to join the executive board of Röchling Automotive on 1 November 2024.
The company’s Automotive and Industrial divisions each generated around EUR 1.2 bn in 2023. The company’s two segments form the core business, with total sales of the Röchling group reaching EUR 2.7 bn
