Big changes are taking place at French speciality chemicals group Arkema (Colombes; www.arkema.com) with the retirement of the head of strategy, Bernard Boyer, and head of High Performance Polymers, Erowan Pezron. This means that the executive board of the group will be partially restaffed. Former Bostik managing director, Sophie Fouillat, is set to take over as head of strategy on 1 October 2024. Laurent Tellier, who was previously responsible for Performance Additives, stepped in as senior vice-president of High Performance Polymers and Fluorogases.
Tilo Quink, who is moving from competitor Henkel to Arkema, is to replace Tellier. Quink was previously managing director of the packaging adhesives, coatings, and sealants activities.
With these changes, there are now nine board members on the management board of CEO Thierry Le Hénaff, including COO Marc Schuller, CFO Marie-José Donsion, and Bostik chairman and CEO Vincent Legros.
