German compounder invests EUR 9 mn in expansion of headquarters site

German compounding specialist Bada (Bühl; www.bada.de) said it has invested around EUR 9 mn in an expansion at its headquarters site. The company plans to add roughly 4,000 m² to the existing 12,000 m² production and storage facilities. Construction is set to be completed in Q2 2025.
Bada produces 40,000 t/y of engineering compounds, covering Badamid polyamides, Badadur PBT, Badaflex TPE and TPU, Badalac ABS, Badaprene TPV, Batadech HT high-performance compounds, Badatron PPS, and blends.
The compounder supplies customers from various industries including automotive, E&E, aviation, furniture, medical technology, household goods, and sports and leisure. Exports make up 30% of its sales.
Bada was founded in 1997 and employs a staff of 100. The company also operates a plant in Huesca, Spain.
