UK subsidiary opens new technical centre

Nordmann UK, the British subsidiary of German distributor Nordmann (Hamburg; www.nordmann.global/en), said it has opened a new technical centre for the analysis and testing of chemicals in Macclesfield, in the north of England. The company did not provide information on the amount of investment or the number of employees at the new centre in response to a Plasteurope.com query.

Nordmann also chose not to comment on details of what will be researched at the site. The centre will “further advance research and development work in a wide range of areas,” it said. It is equipped with devices from measurement technology specialist BYK-Gardner suitable for testing colour, appearance, and physical properties.
