The investment would allow the company to process materials that previously had to be incinerated, says Patrik Lindqvist, purchasing manager at Rondo Plast. The new compactor can process industrial waste such as polyamide fibres from clothing and carpet production as well as ropes, plastic films, and nonwoven waste from the hygiene industry.
Rondo Plast supplies the automotive, household appliance, furniture, and construction industries with plastic compounds based on recycled base materials – specifically, the company processes ABS, PA 6, PA 6.6, polycarbonate, PC/ABS, PBT, polyethylene, and polypropylene.
