Latest acquisition: Portuguese competitor 100 metros
The French distributor of industrial packaging made of paper and plastic Antalis (Boulogne-Billancourt; www.antalis.com) is further expanding its presence on the Iberian Peninsula. Following the acquisitions of Cohal, Garalmi and Gosuma, the company has taken control of Portuguese competitor 100 metros – Soluções de Embalagem, Unipessoal (Frazão; www.100metros.pt). Financial details were not disclosed.

The company from Frazão was founded in 2000 and specialises in customised industrial packaging. This includes the processing of cardboard, film, foam, and bubble wrap with its own machinery, Antalis said. With 80 employees in Frazão and a branch in Cacém, 100 metros reported turnover of EUR 13 mn in 2023.
