To show more presence in the – as he says – “crucially important German market” in the future, company CEO Paolo Barbieri told Plasteurope.com that he has appointed Thomas Lambach as a second sales representative for the German-speaking region, and that he will cover the market with Matthias Jäger.
In addition, Barbieri said he wants to deal with important German customers himself, so he will likely be involved personally with film producers Klöckner Pentaplast and the Bötzingen unit of Liveo Research, where he was a guest at the end of September.
Bahri has been director of purchasing and procurement at Kem One for several years and was previously employed in purchasing at Arkema. Barbieri called him a “fair person with good values”.
With its PVC capacity of 936,000 t/y largely concentrated in France, Kem One is the second largest producer of the resin in Europe behind Ineos, which has available output of more than 2.3 mn t/y.
