Second production site in Poland / Components for automotive industry
In July 2023, the German Weber Group (Dillenburg; www.weber-group.com) plans to begin production at its plant in Kożuchów in the west of Poland.

There, on a site of around 4,400 m², the injection moulding company said it will manufacture components for the automotive industry, such as storage compartments, fresh-air vents, and mechatronic exterior tailgates – the latter for electric vehicles.
CEO Andreas Becker and supervisory board chairman Thomas Zipp officially opened the facility in March.

The Weber Group now has two plants in Poland, with the site of its subsidiary wezi-tec located in Legnica. The company operates other production lines at its headquarters in Dillenburg and in Suzhou, Jiangsu, in the east of China.
The Weber Group said it has also been investing in Dillenburg, where it built a technical centre for mould testing. No details were given on the size of the investment.
