There, on a site of around 4,400 m², the injection moulding company said it will manufacture components for the automotive industry, such as storage compartments, fresh-air vents, and mechatronic exterior tailgates – the latter for electric vehicles.

CEO Andreas Becker and supervisory board chairman Thomas Zipp officially opened the facility in March.

The Weber Group said it has also been investing in Dillenburg, where it built a technical centre for mould testing. No details were given on the size of the investment.
