German speciality chemicals producer Evonik (Essen; www.evonik.com) said it has signed an agreement with compatriot industrial 3D printer distributor ProductionToGo (Karlsbad; www.production-to-go.com) to market its Infinam brand PEEK filaments for 3D printing and photopolymers. The agreement, effective from 1 June onward, covers the EU, Switzerland, Norway, and the UK, but is not exclusive, Evonik noted.

Evonik entered the photopolymer printing technology in 2021 with grades for stereolithography (SLA), liquid crystal display (LCD), and digital light processing (DLP) printing. Materials for 3D printing offered by the company include PEEK filaments, polyamide powders, and elastomers. In addition to Vestakeep, Evonik sells Resomer, a bioresorbable (dissolving in the body) material for medical technology.
