US masterbatch maker launches material for E&E
American masterbatch specialist Ampacet (Tarrytown, New York; www.ampacet.com) said it has introduced the ELTech product range, which is specifically formulated for the stringent electrical and electronic equipment industry.

The materials are based on various carrier resins such as polyethylene, EVA, PBT, and a so-called universal carrier, and are designed for colouring wire, cable jacketing and connectors, and other products under RAL colour standards. Applications also include power and telecommunication cables, connectors, electrical boxes, casing, ducts, conduits, plugs, sockets, and switches.

Francois Thibeau, the supplier’s strategic business manager for E&E, said the products further the company’s diversification strategy to enrich its masterbatch portfolio and open opportunities for new markets.
