Majority stake in rotomoulder RBB / Stronger presence in key French market
Germany’s Graf (Teningen; www.graf-online.de) said it has acquired a majority stake in RBB (Elange, Luxembourg; www.biorock.com) for an undisclosed sum, with the entire RBB workforce of more than 100 employees to be integrated in the group as part of a strategic partnership.

The German company is a specialist for tanks and filtration systems for rain and wastewater, and the move is expected to boost its expertise in rotomoulding and wastewater treatment.

RBB Group manufactures small-scale Biorock and Biorotor wastewater treatment plants as well as other rotomoulded products such as Rotomade in HDPE. With production plants in Luxembourg and France, the group markets its products through joint ventures worldwide.

Graf owner and MD Otto Graf said the RBB wastewater treatment solutions complement his company’s product portfolio. The acquisition is additionally set to boost the company’s presence in the core French market, where Graf operates a sales office in Dachstein, and strengthen its other international activities.

The German group, which claims to be European market leader in equipment for rainwater utilisation, has more than 650 employees in 10 countries and markets products in around 80 countries.
