Polifilm (Cologne, Germany; www.polifilm.de) said it opened a new Chinese plant for the production of protective films in August.

The company announced that its Changshu production facility near Shanghai is to replace the plant in Taicang, with the new site offering a significant increase in capacity and productivity with its 45,000 m² of floorspace.
