In Lingang near Shanghai, China, German automotive supplier HBPO (Lippstadt; www.hbpogroup.com) is finishing construction of a plant for automotive front modules and air duct systems that is to be officially opened in mid-October 2022, a spokesperson told Plasteurope.com.
The plant is expected to create 80 new jobs, with the slots to be filled by the end of 2023.
In addition to production facilities, a development centre is also to be built, and Lingang will serve as a training facility for employees from 14 other Asian plants spread across China, Malaysia, and South Korea.
