Röchling Industrial, the division of Germany’s Röchling (Mannheim; www.roechling.com) that makes semi-finished products and machined parts based on standard, engineering, and high-performance plastics, is relocating its operations in the Czech Republic from Planá nad Lužnicí to Tábor.
Without disclosing details, Röchling Industrial CEO Franz Lübbers said the move to the new campus 10 km to the north will provide space to expand the company’s capacity and product portfolio for thermoplastics in Central and Eastern Europe. Simultaneously, the Czech offshoot is changing its name to Röchling Industrial Tábor.

Since its acquisition of Czech textile fibre manufacturer and compounder Silon in 2003, Röchling said it has significantly expanded its regional business with high-end extruded sheets and welding wires made from HDPE and polypropylene. Along with production and logistics, the business to be relocated handles all of Röchling Industrial’s sales activities for thermoplastics in the region.
In addition to the bigger 7,000 m² production space and 6,000 m² of storage space, the new premises will house a new 1,200 m² administration building.
