Emmanuelle Bromet to take charge of sustainable corporate development

At the end of July 2022, Emmanuelle Bromet is to become vice-president for sustainable development at French resin maker Arkema (Colombes; www.arkema.com).
She will be tasked with focusing the French specialty chemicals group’s range more on environmentally friendly products, the circular economy, and resource management. She is to succeed Virginie Delcroix, who has held the post since 2017.
Bromet is a chemical engineer and a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs in Paris, which specialises in energy and transport. She has worked for Arkema since 2019, most recently as director of European PMMA activities and the coatings business. Her career previously included positions at Axens and Air Liquide.
