Compounder Vamp Tech now distributing elastomers in Southern Europe and North Africa

US resin maker Trinseo (Berwyn, Pennsylvania; www.trinseo.com) has entered into a distribution partnership with Italian compounder and flame retardant specialist Vamp Tech (Busnago; www.vamptech.com), which will cover the distribution of Trinseo TPE solutions in Italy, Spain, Portugal and North Africa.
Vamp Tech has a strong market presence in the distribution of engineering thermoplastics with several major material suppliers including Celanese, Evonik HPP, LyondellBasell, Kraiburg and Premix.
Vamp Tech is to distribute several Trinseo products under the agreement, which began on 1 January 2022, including its Raplan TPS-SBS and Megol TPS-SEBS styrenic block copolymers, its Apigo TPO and Neogol OBC olefinic thermoplastic elastomers, its Apilon 52 TPU thermoplastic polyurethane, its Tivilon TPV thermoplastic vulcanisate, and its API L TPC copolyester thermoplastic elastomer. Target markets for these products are in particular automotive engineering, E&E and household appliances.
