The JEC Group (Paris; www.jeccomposites.com) is seemingly satisfied with the course of the new industry forum, JEC DACH, which took place in November 2021 in Frankfurt, Germany (see Plasteurope.com of 03.12.2021).

That’s probably why the French organiser now also wants to venture into Italy: in cooperation with composites industry association, Assocompositi (Milan, Italy; www.assocompositi.it), JEC Forum Italy is all set to celebrate its premiere in June 2023.

The event is to kick off at the Bologna Congress Centre on 6 and 7 June 2023, with dinner and a tour of the plant. For the upcoming years – just as in the German-speaking region – it has been planned that the conference, which is intended for the entire Mediterranean region, will tour cities on the continent’s boot. Each year, the focus is expected to be on a different area of application.

Assocompositi, headed by Roberto Frassine, represents around 70 companies in the composites sector.
