The 2022 edition of the conference, A Circular Future with Plastics, organised by European Plastics Converters (EuPC, Brussels; www.plasticsconverters.eu), is scheduled to take place on 19 and 20 May 2022 in Brussels.
In acknowledgement of the continued importance of the topic, the circularity of plastics will be the theme of the conference. The annual meeting of the European converters' association is being co-organised with plastics associations Agoria (Brussels; www.agoria.be) and essenscia (Brussels; www.essenscia.be).
On the first day, three market sessions on packaging, automotive, and building and construction are to take place. European companies like insulation manufacturer Armacell (Capellen, Luxembourg; www.armacell.com) and Polymount International (Nijkerk, the Netherlands; www.polymount-int.com) are expected to present their recent innovations in the field.
On the second day, representatives of European politics, and CEOs from the plastics manufacturing and converting sectors are expected to share their knowledge and experiences on challenges of the sector. Markus Steilemann, president of Plastics Europe and CEO of Covestro, has confirmed his attendance.
