After initially being planned for 2-3 February 2022, Petcore Europe’s (Brussels; www.petcore-europe.org) annual conference is now taking place on 14-15 June 2022 due to coronavirus-related complications, and would most likely be held in the hybrid format.
In a statement, Petcore said that considering the health and safety of attendees, the delay has been chosen as the best alternative.
The venue and facilities remain as previously planned, namely the Doubletree Hilton in Brussels. Last year, Petcore also had to postpone its annual conference from February to June and move to a virtual format (see Plasteurope.com of 26.04.2021).
The conference this year will feature sessions on learnings from Covid-19 and end-to-end supply chain, how the virgin production industry is preparing for conversion to rPET, PET converters’ view on the impact of disconnection from virgin, and how to cope with demand and a long-term view of investment.
