Distributor renames subsidiaries in Switzerland, France, Italy

German chemicals distributor Nordmann (Hamburg; www.nordmann.global) has changed the names of its subsidiaries in Switzerland, France, and Italy. The company decided in March 2019 to adopt a uniform name for all 25 locations under the Nordmann brand.
The Swiss subsidiary, prochem, part of the Hamburg-based company since 2007, is now called Nordmann Switzerland. The 10 employees at the unit reportedly achieved turnover of EUR 10 mn in 2020. Nordmann France, formerly known as the distributor Copci, was founded in 1968 and has been part of Nordmann since 2013. The unit employs 19 and reported turnover of EUR 20 mn in 2020.
Italian subsidiary Jointec has been dubbed Nordmann Italy. It was founded in 1996, employs 10, has belonged to the German company since 2015, and has plans to grow in 2022. The parent of the three units recently reported turnover of EUR 440 mn with a total of 470 employees.
Nordmann distributes speciality chemicals for construction, composites, elastomers, paints and lacquers, food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, adhesives, and plastics.
