At the turn of the year, Jarola Group (Lutten / The Netherlands; www.jarolagroup.com) acquired all shares in Fiedler Kunststofftechnik Vertriebsgesellschaft (Schlüchtern / Germany; www.fiedler-kunststofftechnik.de) for an undisclosed amount. With the takeover, which took place in the course of an entrepreneurial succession, the Dutch wholesaler strengthens its activities for water management in Germany, where it has been operating with its own sales portal since summer 2021.
Fiedler’s product range includes fittings made of PVC, and clamp connectors and tapping clamps made of polypropylene. The new managing directors are now Gert-Jan de Wilde and Gerard Nijlant. A site manager, who is to take charge of the operational business before the end of January, is to be supported during a transitional phase by former owner Klaus Fiedler, who reportedly parted with the business due to age-related reasons.
Jarola employs around 300 people and stocks items from more than 300 producers in its portfolio. In 2020, the company is said to have sold around 12m meters of pipes and other linear goods to more than 150,000 customers.
