Distribution of Imerys speciality minerals in Norway, Denmark and Iceland

As of 1 January 2022, Bodo Möller Chemie (Offenbach / Germany; www.bm-chemie.de) plans to take over the distribution of speciality minerals for French mining group Imerys (Paris / France; www.imerys.com) in Denmark, Norway and Iceland. The cooperation covers both distribution and customer support for the use and processing of the mineral-based materials.
The Imerys portfolio includes minerals such as talc, kaolin, ball clay, carbonate, precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), diatomaceous earth, perlite, mica and wollastonite, which are used inter alia in the paint and varnish, printing ink, adhesives, rubber and plastics industries. With its 18,000 employees, the group most recently announced sales of EUR 4.6 bn.

The product portfolio distributed by Bodo Möller includes adhesives based on epoxy resin, polyurethane and silicone, as well as thermosets (epoxy resins, polyester, polyurethane, silicone), pigments, additives, textile auxiliaries, dyes, electro casting resins, composite materialis, and tooling and laminating resins.
