After being the first to start in-person trade fairs in a post-coronavirus world in 2021 (see Plasteurope.com of 20.04.2021), “Chinaplas” plans to return in 2022 to the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai. With carbon neutrality and digitalisation as the main themes, the next Chinaplas has been planned for 25-28 April 2022, and over 4,000 exhibitors are expected, according to organiser Adsale (Hong Kong / China; www.adsale.com.hk).
Since visitors from abroad are likely to face transportation and quarantine issues, due to Covid-19 restrictions, a number of online conferences and streaming services have also been planned for the event, a part of which is the “CPS+ eMarketplace”, a virtual sourcing and business matching platform. Certain halls at the upcoming event, according to Adsale, will be dedicated to “green” elements, focusing solely on environment protection, eco-friendly products, and green additives, besides the “Bioplastics Zone” and the “Recycled Plastics Zone”.
